Helping students learn from failure

For Mr Wilbur Wong, running is a good metaphor for resilience – when the going gets tough, just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

In fact, raising resilient children starts with us adults being good role models, as he shared in this article.

 

At Montfort Junior School, Mr Wong would remind parents, coaches and teachers to help students learn from their mistakes by asking, “What are the things you can do to overcome failure?”
