Bringing the arts into education

As a classically-trained pianist, Mrs Clara Lim-Tan knew the power of music in developing a child.

One of her first acts as Principal at Yu Neng Primary was to start a school choir to help any student harness the one musical instrument they had: their voice. 

 

Today, she has gone beyond music and the school is abuzz with student artworks and community collaborations.
