Some tournaments are remembered because of who won. Others are remembered because of the people beside us.
Whether during the excitement of InterHouse Games or the determination of Run AC, I found myself drawn to the moments in between: the handshake, the cheers, the joy, and the smiles shared after crossing the finish line.
As a first-year photographer picking up a camera for the first time, I realised these were the moments worth preserving. Beyond any scores or results, there is something that matters more: respect between competitors, passion in every challenge, and a community that cherishes one another regardless of house colours.
Many years later, we may forget who won the trophy, but these moments of sportsmanship, friendship and school spirit are the ones that will stay with us.

School is more than a place of learning; it is a community where people come together to create, support, and inspire. This spirit was showcased during Synergy Night, a public concert that our school held at the School of the Arts, bringing together all five performing arts groups — Choir, Band, Handbells, Guitar Ensemble, and Drama.
At the heart of the concert was a touching story about a boy living with obsessive-compulsive disorder, and the friends who stood by him through his struggles.
While performers took the stage, many others worked behind the scenes to ensure the show’s success.

“Every school is a good school.” What makes this statement true? Beyond each student’s grades and the school’s achievements, it is the community.
It may be performers onstage and players in jerseys upholding the school’s pride, but their brilliant performances are never without the crowd’s cheers, the behind-the-scenes support from their friends, and the continuous backing from their teachers.
One standalone flower is beautiful, but together, we are a blossoming bouquet. Thriving, standing together — holding each other up.
